The 2019 Domeniile Pripa Rară Neagră is an elegant Moldovan red wine made exclusively from the native Rară Neagră grape variety, grown on the sunny south-western slopes of the Ștefan Vodă Protected Geographical Indication (PGI), near Purcari. The vineyards benefit from a mild Black Sea influence and rich clay-limestone soils that help the grapes reach full maturity while retaining freshness.
The wine was aged for approximately 12 months in Moldovan oak barrels, which adds delicate notes of vanilla, spice, and soft tannins.
