The bottle size has a great influence on the taste quality. The same cuvée tastes even more harmonious from the magnum bottle than from the 0.75 bottle and matures and develops significantly better the larger the bottle is. The Szigeti Sektkellerei is the only winery in Austria to fill and ferment large bottles from 1.5 liters to 15 liters according to the "Méthode Traditionnelle".

The Traditional Method honors the idea that luxury isn’t rushed. Unlike quicker, more industrial techniques, this method crafts a finer bubble, a smoother sip.
After a still wine is made, a second fermentation begins when a little sugar and yeast are added before sealing the bottle. Slowly, over months—even years—tiny bubbles are born. As the wine rests on its lees (remnants of yeast), it gains depth and complexity.
